Our staff quickly noticed that you’re a member of several modeling sites. It’s hard to find one that you are not an active member on.  Do you know how many sites total you’re a member of, and how has this influenced the number of casting offers you’ve received?

I’m on alot of sites and I used to get tons on castings but now because of the economy jobs have been very sparse. I get more jobs from Craigslist than I do actual modeling sites.

How long ago did you first join a modeling site, and what possessed you to do so?
I first joined modeling sites 3 years ago. The first site I ever joined was OneModelPlace.com but I no longer use it because they charge for more than 5 photos and the others I’m on allow more. The things that made me want to join a modeling site were a turn of events in the Summer of 2005 after I graduated from Highschool. I saw an add in the newspaper from a photographer offering free photoshoots to build a portfolio with. I figured it would be fun and maybe I’d be able to do something with it. He told me about a website called Craigslist and I looked in the local areas for modeling jobs. I’ve been doing ever since.

Can you tell us about your most recent casting opportunity?
The most recent casting opportunity was for a movie called Miss January. I played the role of Uta, a German woman that gets her dress ripped off by a “Frankenbooty” monster. LOL! It was alot of fun! I can’t get into it much more than that but I can’t wait to see it as a finished product!

What has been your most favorite casting opportunity that you’ve received through the internet?
My favorite casting I’ve ever received through the internet was when I got the role of Uta in Miss January. I got treated like royalty. I had my own trailer. I have my hair & makeup done all glamorous! And I had such a cool costume complete with vintage boots. I felt like a movie star.

What other interests do you have besides modeling?
My interests are: modeling, acting, singing (mostly Opera, but all sorts of music), dancing and learning new dances. I also love to sail, boating, go out to carnivals, amusement parks, haunted houses & attractions, and trying new things.  I love to write poetry and short stories, I’ve been obsessed with vampires since I was a little girl (I fantasize about meeting a real one someday)… now I know why…, jewelry design, acting, cooking, horseback ridding, going out to the movies & renting movies (watching comedy movies, romance movies, horror movies, action movies). I love going to concerts, county & state fairs, carnivals, Renaissance Festivals, hanging out with my husband Matt, going clubbing, watching MTV & VH1, listening to music on my laptop, playing on my computer, playing with animals, going to poetry slams & band performances, going out to dinner, and traveling to different places around the world.

I’ve been singing opera since I was 5 years old and it’s my first passion however due to major stage fright I have not pursued it until now. My grandma used to make me practice ever day after school til I got it right. When she died I gave up singing because it hurt me not to have her there. But I realized she would never have wanted me to give up my dreams and I’m going for it now. So I opened up a YouTube site where I can showcase my vocal talents without the pressure of the crowds. What are your favorite television shows, movies, and books?
MUSIC:
I love singing to opera music by Sarah Brightman. I love rock mainly but I also like to listen to all different types of music like hip hop, pop, rap, r&b, and even some techno like music but not much. It can get very repetitive and annoying except for Mindless Self Indulgence, Nine Inch Nails, and Rob Zombie. I also like to listen to music of different languages and styles from around the world. I love the French cd I bought while in Paris it featured all the classics from the greats. My favorite music to make love to would have to be R&B music because it can often be sweet and sensual. My favorite singers & bands from the following genres:

1.) Rock - Marilyn Manson, Korn, HIM, Disturbed, Avril Lavigne, Evanescence, Alanis Morissette, Incubus, System of A Down, Slipknot, Smashing Pumpkins, Staind, Lifehouse, and others I can’t think of at the moment

2.) Pop, Rap, Hip Hop and R&B - Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Aaliyah, Ciara, Beyonce, Rhianna, Shakira, Ashanti, Nelly Furtado, Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Ludacris, Eminem, Ying Yang Twins, Lil John and others I can’t think of at the moment

MOVIES:
I love romance & drama movies, horror and comedy mostly but I also like some action movies as well. Oh and don’t forget my obsession with vampires!

My favorite movies from the following genres:

1.) Romance & Drama - Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge, The Notebook, A Walk To Remember, Cruel Intentions, Thirteen, White Oleander, Crash, Titanic, Stepmom, Meet Joe Black, Pay It Forward, and others I can think of at the moment

Horror, Mystery, Thriller, & Action - Saw, Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm St, Halloween, The Matrix, Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Ring, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, IT, Poltergeist, The Exorcist, The Shining, Amityville Horror, Braveheart, Lara Croft Tomb Raider, and others I can’t think of at the moment

3.) Vampire & Cult - Interview With A Vampire, Queen of The Damned, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Underworld, Van Helsing, The Lost Boys, The Craft, Hocus Pocus, The Wizard of Oz, The Labyrinth, Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, The Witches of Eastwick, Practical Magic and others I can’t think of at the moment

Also I like to mention I love any movies with Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, and Angelina Jolie.

TV:
I’m a kid at heart so I love to watch cartoons but not just any cartoons. I love to watch the cartoons I watched as a kid (Looney Tunes, The Tex Avery Show, Tom & Jerry, and other classics like that, even some black & white ones too like Betty Boop and old Mickey Mouse). I also watched some newer cartoons like Ed Ed & Eddie, Two Stupid Dogs, Cow & Chicken, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Ren and Stimpy, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Laboratory, The Rugrats, Family Guy and Futurama. I also watched other shows like Goosebumps, All That, Hey Dude, and other Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network shows.

My other old childhood favorites were Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Clarissa Explains It All, Dawson’s Creek, Boy Meets World, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Martin, Wayans Brothers, Malcolm & Eddie, Moesha, The Jamie Foxx Show, The Hughleys, Hanging With Mr. Cooper, Friends, Xena Warrior Princess, Hercules, That 70s Show, Step By Step, Full House, Roswell, King of The Hill, South Park, and Party of Five.

Now I watch Smallville, VH1 & MTV shows like Flavor of Love, I Love New York, Next, The Ex Factor, Rock of Love, Parental Control, Adult Swim on Cartoon Network shows like Futurama, and Family Guy.

BOOKS:
I love to sit down and read a good romance novel or thriller/mystery/horror novel as well.

My favorite place to read ideally in the summer is under a willow tree by the lake where I achieve serenity. In the winter ideally I love to curl up in a warm comfy blanket, curled up in one of those round wicker chairs by the fireplace as the snow falls outside my window.

Sarah Brightman and Mariah Carey: you helped me find my voice! Angelina Jolie & Nicole Kidman: you helped me see how women can go to the top and still have the heart to help the world! Tyra Banks: you showed me you can be different and still beautiful! Any single mother struggling to take care of her children. Any teenage girl that has the strength to say no to peer pressure. All the women in history that paved the way to where we as women are today.
